MDF ALUMNI
When you train with Modernday Fitness, you become part of a family and legacy that was started in 2006, by former NFL Defensive End, Otis Leverette. MDF boast an extensive network of over 100 Alumni. MDF Alumni are supportive and lead by example. Alumni include NFL athletes, college coaches, real estate agents, accountants, entrepreneurs, videographers and more. Our goal is to create a well-rounded athlete. Wherever your path takes you, we believe our MDF family can help.
JAMEIS WINSTON
QUARTERBACK Jameis is from Hueytown, AL and began training with MDF in 8th grade. Jameis Winston's leadership and philanthropy have been well documented throughout his career. During the off-season he host one Birmingham's most popular football camps, Dream Forever Football Camp.
AMEER ABDULLAH
RUNNING BACK
Ameer is from Homewood, AL and began training with MDF in the 10th grade. Year round, Ameer dedicated many hours to training. He dedicated his summer months to training and traveling with Modernday Fitness to participate in college camps and combines.
JOEL MCCANDLESS
LINEBACKER
Joel attended Wenonah High School and began training with MDF in 10th grade. Known as a very vocal leader for MDF and JSU, Joel exemplifies the CAN DO Attitude. Joel is the founder of Family over funds, a non profit organization that provides financial literacy classes.
MICHAEL JACKSON
CORNERBACK
Michael attended Spain Park High School and began training with MDF in 7th grade. He grew up competing, with then high school aged Jameis Winston, Ameer Abdullah, and other DI athletes. In 8th grade, Mike received invaluable experience by training with MDF.
